Dried Apple Wedges | Fall Snacks
An easy to make, naturally sweet snack—soft, chewy, and perfect for lunch boxes and adventures.
Servings: 6 people
Equipment
- 1 peeler
- 1 apple corer
- 1 Dehydrator
Ingredients
- 8 apples
Optional
- 1/2 lemon squeezed
- 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon ground
- 1/4 tsp ginger ground
Instructions
- Wash and peel the skin off the apples.
- Core the apples, or cut with a knife into wedges.
- Optional: Toss with lemon and spice in a large bowl.
- Spread out onto dehydrator sheets with a little space between.
- Dehydrate at 115 degrees F. on a ventilated surface for 12-24 hours. Or until desired chewiness.
Notes
Can be stored in masons jars in a cool dry space for up to 30 days.
