Dried Apple Wedges | Fall Snacks

An easy to make, naturally sweet snack—soft, chewy, and perfect for lunch boxes and adventures.

Equipment

  • 1 peeler
  • 1 apple corer
  • 1 Dehydrator

Ingredients

  • 8 apples

Optional

  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon ground
  • 1/4 tsp ginger ground

Instructions

  • Wash and peel the skin off the apples.
  • Core the apples, or cut with a knife into wedges.
  • Optional: Toss with lemon and spice in a large bowl.
  • Spread out onto dehydrator sheets with a little space between.
  • Dehydrate at 115 degrees F. on a ventilated surface for 12-24 hours. Or until desired chewiness.

Notes

Can be stored in masons jars in a cool dry space for up to 30 days.
